Jonathan Carvell Honig was born at 6:54AM CST on August 8, 1997 in Birmingham, AL. Although he was a bit premature at 33 weeks, he weighed in at a healthy 5lbs 5oz and 17in!

Today measurments indicate that Jonathan is a healthy 7lbs 3oz and 19" long!

October 10, 1997 News flash!

Today the doctor reported that Jonathan is up to a healthy 9lbs 4oz and 21.25" long! Then the mean old doctor stuck him with four needles! Mom almost cried as loud as he did!

Jonathan is happy that Dad has a new camera! In fact, Jonathan is frequently happy.

December 12, 1997 News Flash!

Jonathan is growing well, at his well visit he weighed 12lbs 12oz and had grown to 23.25"! Just as he was drifting off the sleep a mean nurse came and stuck him in the legs, only three times this visit!

The adoption has been finalized! Finally!

Still growing! At his six-month well visit Jonathan weighed in at 15lbs 12oz and 26"! We've discovered that Jonathan likes to flirt with the nurses! Three more nasty shots, and they really hurt this time! His next visit is not until May and no shots are scheduled then!

Feburary 15, 1998 News Flash!

Today Jonathan tried his first solid food. A bit of rice cereal in the morning and evening. He's not quite sure what to think about it, but it is fun getting it all over!

May 29, 1998 Update!

At his well visit Jonathan weighed in at 19lbs 10oz and 28.5"! He is doing quite well, despite having just recovered from a virus that gave him a skin rash!

He first sat up by himself two weeks ago and started crawling last week. This week he started pulling himself up on the side of his play area! Now that he is mobile there is no stopping him!

In an unexpected move, Jonathan's parents bring the "bebe" home with them. Jonathan isn't sure what to think about his brother Caeln. Sharing mom and dad is a concept he's going to have to get used to.
